Open letter to Annalena Baerbock – Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs

Dear Federal Minister Baerbock,

The violent death of the 22-year-old Iranian Jina Mahsa Amini at the hands of the Islamic Republic’s “morality police” brought courageous protesters on to the streets to demonstrate their anger and demand justice and freedom from this theocratic dictatorship. The protests were met by the Islamic Republic’s brutal force and suppression that the world witnessed. We now stand at a point in history where the foreign policy of Western countries has become a top priority for the Iranian diaspora living here and all across Europe.
